Hello, Dear Sustainability Enthusiasts,

With this message, we would like to say thank you for being with us in the past semester. 

It was not an easy period for all – the pandemic limited life in many ways. Our purpose was to organize events on relevant and meaningful topics that would not only support your learning and open new perspectives regarding sustainability but also let you speak out and e-meet like-minded people. 

It was great to see attendees from very different programs of Aalto University as well as those who joined the events from outside the university. We appreciate your feedback, time, and participation during the events and discussions that we had with start-up leaders, corporate managers, and professors. Indeed, Q&A sessions were as valuable and insightful as the presentations from the sustainability experts.

Looking back, we had the pleasure to host Solar Foods, iFarm, Neste, Valmet, Finnair, Kesko, Handelsbanken & We Did It Our Way. We also organized two movie screenings, invited Professor Kaustia, and collaborated with the Aalto Debating Society. Following the vision of inclusivity and the multidisciplinary nature of sustainability, we changed our club's name to the Aalto Sustainability Club to welcome people of all backgrounds who are interested in discussing a wide range of topics about sustainability.
