6.            Associations PauseTime

Looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Take a well-deserved break and come to the pHuone to participate in Association’s PauseTime! 🥰☕️

Common PauseTimes will be organized weekly. Any exceptions will be announced. From 16:15 to 18:00, there will always be someone from the board so you can for example easily buy overall patches or get points for your point card during that time. Depending on the wishes of the people present, the break can be spent by playing games, having chit chat with a nice cup of coffee/tee on the side or even watching a film. Come to meet old and new PT-friends and make yourself at home in the association's living room!

You can get a Fuksi Point from participating in three PauseTimes!

II.        Events arranged by PT and CHEM

  1. Overall Pickup!

We will arrange extra possibility to pick up your overalls from the CHEM building lobby on Tuesday 1.11. at 16-17. Please remember to take a receipt of the paid overalls with you!

2.    Lecture about association work in Finland and PT as a student association, 1st of November

How PT works as a student association? Who can apply to become a board member or official? How can I get my voice heard and bring up ideas? You can find answer to all these questions by participating the Lecture about PT and association work in Finland! The lecture is arranged in class M102 in Undergraduate centre on the 1st of November at 16.15 and it will take an hour. During the lecture there is also possibility to ask questions.

3.    PT’s Official Fair, 3rd of November

Do you have a moment to talk about PT's official work?

Yes!🔥🥵

Come to Ossinsauna on the 3rd of November from 17.00 onwards to hear about the different official positions and to enjoy the super sweet sausage houses and other refreshments built by IE. During the evening there will be a playful competitions, information about the different positions and the application process. If you have any questions about the official work, there is also possibility to ask and get answer! As the evening goes forward, the sauna will also warm up and you can start dreaming about your year as a PT's official 2023 in the warmth of the sauna.

Yes, but I'm a first-timer. What all of this mean and how much time official work takes? 👉👈🥺

The different parts of our association are maintained by a wide range of officials who get to implement their ideas, try new things and improve the old during the year. The work, amount of time and the end result depends always on the people who do the task and the year certainly doesn't have to be too serious! The aim is that you have at least as fun when arranging something than participating!

I would be interested in updating my subscription to the board level🤔🎪

You can also hear about board positions at the Official Fair! In addition to the info sessions, there will be a board members, whose members you can directly ask about the job you are interested in.

And that's not all!🤩

You can find a list and information about the various official and board positions in the "Tasks" section of the website. You can also always ask for more information, for example by contacting the head of the committee!
