Do you want to follow and participate in discussions regarding all PT members? Do you want to hear the ideas and thoughts of students from other classes as well? To do this, there is #PT, a common Telegram group to all PT members.

You can join the General Discussion Group #PT on Telegram from this link. The group is for both formal information and informal discussion. Please read the group rules when you join the chat.

In addition, PT has its own one-way information channel on Telegram, which works with the same principle as Captains’ Inform. It’s used for informing about events and condensing the weekly newsletter for all members.

II       Events arranged by PT and CHEM

  1. PT official application period is here again! 5th-24th of November

Take a Nakki and join in to create an unforgettable year as a PT official! Our operations wouldn’t be possible without our amazing officials and there are all kinds of tasks available to those who are interested in them! As an official you have an opportunity to express yourself and being an official is a great change for studying. Besides being a unique experience, you will also get to know new people and also get to know our association on deeper level.

Applying for official posts takes place in PT's ilmomasiina. Check all the positions that you want to apply for before the application form closes on the 24th of November! Almost all official tasks last for the whole year and positions with a star are positions that contain more responsibility.

After application form has closed the board of 2023 will interview and choose its officials. If you come up with any questions, don't hesitate to contact the old or new board members.

Participating in the Search for Officials earns the Officials point! The point does not necessitate being accepted for the position you apply for.

V      Greetings

Anna: That’s one more milestone done and dusted! I hope you enjoyed the Jubilee sits, and hopefully you got to enjoy some of the celebrations of the 150th Teekkarius anniversary :) This week brings along the salty spray of the sea as we sail overseas to say hi to our beloved neighbours! Before that we finally get to reveal your fuksi patch and yearbook, I can’t wait to see the fruits of your labour! Because Teekkarius is now 150 years old, this week’s song is i Tuuli’s Paljon onnea vaan ;)

Eetu: The Teekkari tradition weeks came to an end with the Teekkari Tradition Party, and next week it’s time to celebrate The guild of mining and metallurgy, and after that turn our sights to the docks, and to Stockholm, waiting for us beneath the roaring seas. For that I need to prepare myself physically and mentally, I can already hear the rumble of the ocean and feel the waves crashing on the hull of the boat beneath my feet, not to mention the extravagant smells and flavors cruises always provide 🤢.
