Liiku, rentoudu ja verkostoidu loistavassa seurassa Kroatian
maaseudulla. Tähän tapahtumaan on 55 euron osallistumismaksu
kattaa majoituksen, kuljetuksen maaseudulle, ateriat sekä
tietysti reippaasti juhlia.
2) Workshop "ExploRED Planet" 9.12.-16.12.2012

Tämä workshop tarjoaa uusia ulottuvuuksia kaikille
avaruustutkimuksesta innostuneille.Tutustu muun muassa "Mars
science laboratory"-projektiin ja Curiosity-kulkijan
sielunelämään. Teoriapuolta täydentävät tuttuun tapaan muun
muassa teemabileet ja maaseutuvisiitti.

1) Event “International Motivational Weekend 2012”

Dear EESTECers,we are announcing our 4th International
Motivational Weekend, happening between the 9th and 11th of
November 2012.
We’re bringing the participants of our workshop »Bad cars gone
electric 2« there as a conclusion to a great event and we’re
going to have soft-skills trainings during the day, followed by
even more awesome theme parties to keep us up till early
morning.
The participation fee is 55€, which includes accommodation,
transport from Ljubljana, 3 meals a day and free theme parties.
At the IMW we will be accompanied by members of other
associations, so we definitely need all of you to join us and
show them them our EESTEC spirit.
The venue is the same as last year and year before that,
Kranjska Gora, where you can enjoy our beautiful countryside.
And remember, the best way to participate at the IMW is to apply
for our workshop!
If you are still in doubt about whether to come or not, ask
anyone that has ever participated in an IMW to tell you about
it.
We promise you won't regret it for a second!
2) Workshop "ExploRED Planet"

Dear RED people,We are thrilled to announce that this workshop
will be one giant leap for an eestec-kind in space exploration.
The focus will be on the Red Planet and the latest mission
related to it, which is called "Mars Science Laboratory".
The idea is to give you a closer look to the technological
aspects of Curiosity rover which landed on Mars in August 2012.
Part of the lectures and practical part will be devoted to the
study of this rover as a robot that operates in specific
conditions. The main fields are the power and energy efficiency
of the robot, the materials from which is made, how it is
communicating with the base on the Earth and other
telecommunications devices which is equipped with. You will also
find out about history of space research and technology that
made this possible. Therefore, this will be an exciting week for
astronomy lovers and inquisitive engineers.
As we never forget about eestec spirit, you will have enough
time to discover all the beauties of our capital and to get to
know with its nightlife. Over here, every day is treated as
Friday, in regard of fun. When you add theme parties which we
are planing for you, then Belgrade is definitely
"the-place-to-be" this winter. You will also have the chance to
spend a few days out of the city and experience admirable
landscapes and attractive nature in the country with reach
legacy in history and art, among abundant kitchen and warm
hospitality.
Having so many things left for your amazement, we invite you to
follow your curiosity and participate in this excellent workshop
we are preparing for you.

Dear EESTECers,
Let’s fast forward a little bit thru the time, not very far in
the future, but somewhere in the middle of December 2012.
Suddenly you find yourself in a hotel room, with an open
suitcase right in front of you. As you’re packing your bags and
apparently getting ready to head home, you wonder yourself: “Why
am I constantly smiling and feeling happy? And even though I am
trying, I still can’t remove this distinct happy expression off
my face…” Oh, it is simple, almost two months ago by joining the
event “Code App, level up” by LC Skopje you made your best
decision this year.

The almost radical growth of the world-wide smartphone community
consequently affects the growth of need for mobile applications.
These factors are opening new windows of possibilities for
exploiting that market by the programmers from all around the
world. That’s why LC Skopje is hosting a week of quality
trainings and place where you will be able to implement your
gained knowledge and creativity into practical work. “Code App,
level up” is a workshop that through courses will bring you
close to this programming field and will create a chance to code
real applications for real clients. Level UP yourself!
But it’s not all about coding!(?) All of you participants just
prepare to get to know with the famous Macedonian hospitality.
By rallying our capital, the city of Skopje, you will experience
the unique fusion of the West with the Orient. You will have
taste of our extraordinary cuisine and for sure you will enjoy
our national drinks that will keep you warm in the long nights
