Monthly report-July


Dear EESTECers,

we hope that July was a relaxing month for all of you and also you enjoyed amazing EESTEC events organised this month!
International Board has been working for last 6 days on several projects for the development of EESTEC. We also had some fun with members of LC Bucharest and enjoyed our stay in the city and in home town of our treasurer very much!  
After making all this work in Summer Board Meeting, we are confident that following months are going to be very hardworking and many significant project will be developed. We are glad to announce also that LC Eskisehir is ECM OC 2012.
During August also there is the first GToc, first international event for Grant Team, we hope you already applied for it :)
Also, don’t forget that more international events are coming the upcoming months, so stay tuned! Till then enjoy rest of the summer in a nice place :)

• Attended 1 Online Board Meeting (OBOM)
• Attended Summer Board Meeting (SuBOM)
• worked on IEEE grant report (and we submitted it :) )

• 2 meetings with LC Board members
• participation in motivational weekend of student organisation with LC Riga members
• Discussed about the plan for following months and action plan for COC
• worked on and finalised Congress Minutes
• Chairman Department work:
• worked in handover guide and working with BA’s on it
• assigned to BA’s and tested new yearbook manager
• was in contact with project responsible and team members for Lykeion, EESTEC Summer School (ESS), Competition, Promo Video
• guidance for team and department coordination
• was in contact with TrT
• T4T preparations

Treasurer - Catalina Stoica:

• Responsible for organization part of SuBOM
• Submitted follow-up for IEEE ( invoices and final report )
• Established academical collaboration with MIM (Master in Management) portal
• Established an online meeting with the company Direct Students
• In contact with GT Coordinator
• making draft schedule of GToc
• approving facilitators for GToc
• in contact with LC Belgrade for GToc
• Treasurer department work:
• Assigned teams and projects responsibles

VC-EA - J. Fernando Sánchez Rada:

• Managing IFISO requests for mailing list and website
• Finished project plans for this year
• Provide assistance with eestec.net
• Migrate Event Planning Form to the website
• Revising Congress minutes

VC-IA - Merve Salihoğlu:

• Administrating CP and LCs’ mailing lists
• In contact with CPs, BAs and (J)LC Board members
• Managing appearing problems in (J)LCs
• Contacting (J)LCs which had/have events both about preparations and about RoP
• Working on Congress Minutes
• Event Planning Form sent - LCs please fill it till 5th of August!!
• Internal Affairs Department:
• Newsletter Team
• July issue published
• Newsletter Guide for team members is updated
• BAs assigned for testing Yearbook Manager
• In contact with the team/project coordinators and members

VC-PA- Mihai Chirita:

• First Online Meeting with Magazine Team Coordinator
• Made analysis of projects to be developed this year in P&A Department
• Finalized priorities for next year and action plan
• Meeting with UBISOFT representatives regarding Designer Training System
• Designed logo for GToc
