Vetoomus viisumi-helpotuksista
Heipähei!
Tällä kertaa välitän EESTEC International Boardin puolesta seuraavan viestin, jossa kerrotaan yrityksestä helpottaa viisumien saamista opiskelijoille yleishyödyllisissä yhdistyksissä, kuten mm. EESTEC:ssä. Lisäksi vetoomuksessa vedotaan visumimaksujen poistamiseksi, ainakin kyseisissä tapauksissa.
Suomesta ei moneenkaan maahan vaadita viisumia, mutta itäisen Euroopan maille ne ovat usein pakollisia ja aiheuttavat paljon lisätyötä sekä myös epävarmuutta viisumin saamisesta. Kustannuksetkin ovat sikäläisille monesti suhteessa kalliita.

Dear EESTEC-ers! In cooperation with other non-governmental and non-political youth organization associated under the informal body of IFISO, EESTEC Board International agrees upon the content of the Petition on Visa barriers - http://www.petitiononline.com/aegeeyfj/petition.html and hereby confirms the authenticity and regularity of the claims written. To briefly sum up all the claims in the petition, it is about standing up against visa fees, introducing special type of easy attainable visas for members of Youth Associations, having common criteria for everybody and implementing transparent regulations and policy in field of youth migration. All said could have been excellently applied to EESTEC in order to increase mobility of our east located members, reduce an amount of paperwork overall and save up some bad temper. Therefore we are asking you to revise it and sign it upon your personal conclusion. The greatest the number of backgrounds the higher are chance to abolish today's unfair treatment of our discriminated fellows. EESTEC is still in no manner affiliated to any possible political misusages of this campaign.
