Hello dear EESTECers,

Well another year is behind us and another congress went down the throats:) To be precise it was 19. EESTEC international congress, held in Madird.

first my thanks goes to the COC2005 (Congress Organizing Committee) for organizing this big event and for hosting all LC present. LC Madird you did I great job!

Some brief facts about the Congress:

There were 25 out of 29 LC present. * 2 LC were excluded from EESTEC. LC Twente and Lc Paris * 5 EESTEC LC OBSERVERS were confirmed by the as LCs by the GA: LC Athens, Greece LC Tallin, Estonia LC Valmiera, Latvia LC East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina LC Hmaburg, Germany

* to 1 EESTEC LC OBSERVER the status of EESTEC OBSERVER was prolonged for another EESTEC year. Koper, Slovenia ----------------------------------------------------- Now EESTEC has 32 LCs and two official observers: Koper, Slovenia and Istanbul, Turkey

Also new EESTEC international board was elected. the results are the following: Chairman: Borut Ceh, LC Ljubljana VC-Internal Affairs: Tijana Momirov, LC Novi Sad VC-External Affairs: Florian Friesdorf, LC Munich VC-Publications&Administration: Francesca Vizzi, LC Cosenza Treasurer: Marina Plavsic, LC Belgrade

Well that is all in brief my dears, but I am sure you will be hearing from us quite a lot this year.
