We want to encourage you to visit one of Germany’s most beautiful cities, the capital of Bavaria. As our motto is Intercultural Competence we will have a workshop about this topic held by the “Carl von Linde Akadamie”, which was very popular in the past. Furthermore we visit two big companies which are highly interested in you. It’s Texas Instruments (www.ti.com) and Rhode & Schwarz (http://www2.rohde-schwarz.com/). The rest of the time you will be able to enjoy Munich and the area around Munich in early summer. Of course we organize a great City Rally so you are able to enjoy the most famous sights in Munich. And we definitely don’t forget that Munich is the capital of beer, so you can even taste the one from our one brewery. That’s why you should be prepared to have a lot of fun. A detailed schedule will be released to the participants. Arrival should be arranged at the 1st of June and departure at 9th of June. If train is not too complicated it is the easiest way because the central station is near to your accommodation. If you plan to come by plane we will fetch you from the airport, because it is one hour outside of Munich. So if you don't want to have to get out to the airport at 6am after the farewell party you should be aware of this and if possible take a flight that is around lunchtime or later ;-) . We will be able to host 20 people. As our sponsor offers job opportunities especially for advanced people focusing on analog technology we will prefer applications by people focusing their studies on that topic. We choose the participants, according to their experience in analog technology, so please try to get motivated students. But you are also invited to send us further applications from students who are not specialized on analog technology. Besides we have no limit like 2 people per LC but we try to get a fair balance in our choice. You should be aware that we have a workshop about 3,5 days filled with some work and because of this reason we cannot party every night until 5 o’clock. But this does not mean, we are not having a lot of fun. Deadline for applications will be the 11th of May, shortly after this date we will confirm the places.
