(pdf attached)
The Future Forum panels present technology- and human-centered sustainable
solutions to societal challenges in the fields of health, transport,
environment and culture, which are Northern Dimension thematic
partnerships. Voice is given to representatives of civil society,
university sector, business and government. The exhibition area presents
fresh solutions to societal challenges – particularly those generated by
students and youth.
The Forum is a part of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the
European Union in 2019. It serves as the people-to-people pre-event to the
"Clean and Global North - High-Level Event on Regional Cooperation in the
North event", organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The
invitation-only event on 29. November will also acknowledge the 20-year
anniversary of the Northern Dimension.
