Opportunity to join 'the Test Site' a practical sustainability project in Otaniemi campus

Are you keen to be part of community of thinkers and doers? If you answered YES to any of the above, join us and help grow the Test Site into a centre for Practical Sustainability! On Tuesday the 12th of March at 6pm in A-grid we will have an informal open call session where new students can get to know the Test Site and pitch ideas with wonderful vegan food provided by MyDearKitchenHelsinki. ‘The Test Site’ is an open community with a physical site on Otaniemi campus. It is a student-initiated network enabling experimental and synergetic projects in practical sustainability across all disciplines and education purposes in Aalto University. Students are currently working on projects related to permaculture, sustainable building, circular soap making, low-tech web design, solar energy and aquaponics but we are always open to new ideas! We are looking for: students from all disciplines, whether you have sustainability-related project you would like to test or you simply want to get involved with the projects already taking place. We can help you bring your ideas to life by providing an outdoor space, funding options and access to our wide base of community knowledge or simply provide a like-minded sustainability-focused community to hangout with!
