EESTEC International - Board Assistant -paikat ovat haussa vielä kolmisen päivää, DL hakemuksille on ti 20.5. Yhteystiedot kuhunkin tehtävään on mainittu ko. kohdan tekstissä, alla olevassa kutsu/esittely-meilissä. Samassa ovat myös lisätiedot ja tarkemmat esittelyt, kuhunkin hommaan.
Hallituspaikat ja niihin haettavat BA:t -Chairman, puheenjohtaja -Treasurer, rahastonhoitaja -Vice-Chairman of External Affairs (VC-EA), ulkoasiat, yhteistyö yms. -Vice-Chairman of Internal Affairs (VC-IA), sisäasiat, LC:t yms. -Vice-Chairman of Publications & Administration (VC-PA), julkaisu yms.
Nimensä mukaisesti kyseessä on kansainvälisen hallituksen jäsenten apulaisena toimiminen. Jokaisella hallituspaikalla on omat apulaiset, joten kiinnostuksen kohteita löytyy rahoituksesta julkaisuihin. Yleensä apulaisia on useita, joten jokainen voi osallistua tilanteensa mukaan tehtäviin, eikä siis kannata jättää hakematta työtulvan pelossa. Usein tehtävät ovat tavallaan projektimaisia, useille jaettuja osasia, joista jokainen voi tehdä enemmän tai vähemmän, mielenkiintonsa mukaan.
Itse olin viime vuonna (yksi monesta) VC-IA BA, jossa suurelta osin käsiteltiin eri LC:iltä kerättyjä tietoja ja mahdollisia ongelmakohtia, lisäksi ohjeiden kehittäminen ja yhteistyön parantaminen eri LC:iden ja kansainvälisen tason viestinnässä oli merkittävä osa-alue. Tehtävänjako oli mukava, kerran tai pari saimme materiaalin, josta piti tehdä yhteenvedot ja muutoin aktiivisempiin hommiin kyseltiin innokkaita sekä lopulta muilta mielipiteitä, kommentteja ja parannusehdotuksia.
Jos vähääkään kiinnostaa, niin suosittelen kirjoittelemaan ko. hallituslaiselle (osoitteet alla, kutsujen yhteydessä) ja lyhyesti kertomaan kiinnostuksestasi ja itsestäsi. Voinee sanoa, että kaikki halukkaat päässevät mukaan, mutta jotain täytyy olla valmis tekemään. BA:na pääset olemaan EESTEC:n kehityksen keskipisteessä ja mukana uusimmissa ideoissa. Kerrothan myös CP:lle (hhaukkov) jos haet, että LC tietää aktiivisuudesta.

Have you ever dreamed about moving huge amounts of money from one country to others, and taking important decisions through an expensive and short international phone call? Me too. And we are working on making this possible!
We need people in every single LC interested in International and supporting our Cooperation project. We'd like to create a network all over Europe to get money for EESTEC wherever it's. Since EESTEC still has potential to grow in Europe and make deeper connections with outside organisations, External Affairs is an extremely important department of EESTEC and certainly needs people who are willing to move EESTEC one step forward ! All EESTECers, who have desire to be the part of a team, to improve its contacts with outside organisations, to strengthen the structure of EESTEC, is more than welcome! The topics that we will be working on through the year are:
- Expansion - Visa issues - Contacts with outside organisations such as student organisations, public organisations and universities - Preparing guides and useful documents - Making promotional materials - Internships together with IIC - And many further projects and surprises!
For the expansion purposes, BAs from western LCs are especially encouraged :) If you are interested, please write about yourself, your experience in EESTEC and in other student organisations, what you intend to contribute to EA and contact me at *vc-ea[at]eestec[dot]net*! After that, you will receive a more detailed annual plan for what we are planning to do this year and you will be welcome to the team! Keep up the EESTEC spirit high!

So you are thinking about being a BA? Cool! In IA there are so many different tasks to be done that one will probably fit you. Some of them:
- Revise/modify structure of Congress agenda. - Collect reports (LC Status, Event Planning, Event Feedback). - Very important! - Finish/update/create guides (CP, User guide, Activation&Motivation etc) - Work on EESTEC monthly Newsletter (collector, grammar checker) - Work together with ITT to make eestec.net website fully operational. (bug checker, data fillers) - Revise operation of CP list, event announcement and discussions. - Promote and take care of motivation events (EESTEC Hour, Photo contest). (Promoters in contact with LCs ) - Carry out campaign for joining EESTEC Alumni. (Modify LC Status report, promoters) - Take care of weakest LCs, close contact.
