Anna: Phew, what a mess :D We plowed through a few big events last week and they’re definitely still taking their toll, but now you guys have your own overalls (!!!) and the evil spirits have been chased out of Teekkari Village, and even the ISOs got to have their own sitsis! This week I’m focusing on other things, we’ll get to get acquainted with Official posts and chill and spend time with AS fuksis! I also got through the first CapChats, how wonderful it was to finally get to properly talk to you guys about how the autumn has been! The vibes have been slightly chaotic recently, but overall I’ve been feeling pretty positive. In honour of this, this week’s song-of-the-week is one I’ve been gatekeeping, Even If<https://open.spotify.com/track/0u5atc3ZsWa3OZJAF7QBC0?si=f3dee999b4244be9>!

Teekkari Village has been faced with a suspicious amount of mishaps recently. The Captains joined forces and set off to figure out if supernatural beings could be behind these misfortunes. What they discovered could seal not only their fate, but that of all of Otaniemi…
As autumn darkens the sky, we’ll join Inkubio in celebrating Halloween on the 29th of October starting at 16:30. 1. Lecture about association work in Finland and PT as a student association, 1st of November
How PT works as a student association? Who can apply to become a board member or official? How can I get my voice heard and bring up ideas? You can find answer to all these questions by participating the Lecture about PT and association work in Finland! The lecture is arranged in class M102 in Undergraduate centre on the 1st of November at 16.15 and it will take an hour. During the lecture there is also possibility to ask questions.

1. Save the date: PT’s Official Fair, 3rd of November
Do you have a moment to talk about PT's official work?
Yes!🔥🥵
Come to Ossinsauna on the 3rd of November from 17.00 onwards to hear about the different official positions and to enjoy the super sweet sausage houses and other refreshments built by IE. During the evening there will be a playful competitions, information about the different positions and the application process. If you have any questions about the official work, there is also possibility to ask and get answer! As the evening goes forward, the sauna will also warm up and you can start dreaming about your year as a PT's official 2023 in the warmth of the sauna.
Yes, but I'm a first-timer. What all of this mean and how much time official work takes? 👉👈🥺
The different parts of our association are maintained by a wide range of officials who get to implement their ideas, try new things and improve the old during the year. The work, amount of time and the end result depends always on the people who do the task and the year certainly doesn't have to be too serious! The aim is that you have at least as fun when arranging something than participating!
I would be interested in updating my subscription to the board level🤔🎪
You can also hear about board positions at the Official Fair! In addition to the info sessions, there will be a board members, whose members you can directly ask about the job you are interested in.
And that's not all!🤩
You can find a list and information about the various official and board positions in the "Tasks" section of the website. You can also always ask for more information, for example by contacting the head of the committee!

Anna: Whippee, the colors of fall truly bring joy even amongst all this hassle <3 This week brings along a lot of exciting things, for example the Process Optimization as well as my absolute favourite event from my own Fuksi year, Nightmare in Teekkari Village! This event rush is slowly trying to ease up and I’m starting to feel the CapChathype in the bottom of my stomach. It’s so fun to finally be able to talk to you guys! Overall I’ve recently been feeling very much in love with life. In honour of that, this week’s Song of The Week could be one of my feel-good songs, Best Part<https://open.spotify.com/track/1RMJOxR6GRPsBHL8qeC2ux?si=4102a8636b294c26>!
Eetu: Days are going by quick! What a great week, especially Saturday's English Bachelors Sittning was such a great event! This week it’ll be time for Process Optimization, hope to see you all there! On Saturday there's also the horribly terrifying, blood-chilling Nightmare in Teekkari Village. It’s going to be so scary that I'm running away and hiding in Parolannummi, and dressing up in camo so that the scary boogeyman doesn’t eat me! Thankfully I have my trusty guard cat Nugget in 24/7 patrol (see picture below). Because of this activity-filled 12-day holiday in the following weeks my greetings will be a bit more grim, and the pictures will be a bit more miserable and agony-filled.

Anna: Woopwoop, that’s another great week done and dusted! We finally kicked off the CanCan-year. I can’t wait for next Thursday’s sitz and the troupe’s first performance, I hope to see as many of you there as possible!! Incredible enthusiasm with the fuksi patch and yearbook too, it’s hard to resist checking what you’re all planning… This week will be a bit more chill on your behalf, this is nice for a change! Maybe even Eetu and I will find the time to chill for a bit… In honour and hope of that, this week’s song can be my ultimate feel-good song, What Once Was<https://open.spotify.com/track/1XrSjpNe49IiygZfzb74pk?si=djMyCrOVT9qq30BVq7…>!
Eetu: I was so proud last week, when I saw how many enthusiastic fuksis there were in the Patch and yearbook info! SOO many of you want to be a part of designing the patch and the yearbook! I can’t wait to see how they turn out!! It was also fun seeing PT-fuksis escaping from Otaniemi on friday. Soon there will be some mayhem, just you wait for what we have in store in the coming weeks. Next week there's some deadlines to be met, hopefully they’ll get done in time :D Nugget has had to do some head-scratching, because his empire, a floor-to-ceiling cat tree, had some renovations done this weekend. Hopefully the cat is of an adaptable sort :)

1. CanCan
It’s time for ascendance and for the age-old traditions to be inhereted by the new generation of fuksis. CanCan must now pass from the hands of last year’s fuksis to you! Follow the Captain’s Channel actively, as more infor about CanCan and getting involved will come during the following week!
If CanCan really interests you kiinnostaa, you can also apply to be the CanCan-responsible! These responsibles coordinate their year’s CanCan dance troupe throughout their fuksi year. This includes booking gigs, contacting customers and other practicalities, such as arranging practice times for the gigs and events. It’s an incredibly fun, engaging and rewarding job (you can ask last year’s responsibles! @mellunkyla, @oonakuoppa, @helmihanninen), and you get to affect what your year’s CanCan looks like. The previous responsibles help, guide and train you in the position.
If being a CanCan-responsible sounds like something you would be interested in, send a short, free-form application to Anna (@annanteeksi) on Telegram by Monday the 3rd.
1. Fuksi Patch and -yearbook information lecture 5.10.
PT has a very cheery and diverse fuksis! But now, when the Teekkaricap has been lowered and you might be getting your overalls sometime during this centrury (you might, i dunno), how on earth will you differentiate yourselves from your ISOs, not to mention older members of PT? And if only there was some way to remind yourself when you’re wondering: “Who did I spend my fuksi-year with?”.
To answer those questions, you’re gonna make your very own Fuksi Patch and the Fuksi yearbook of 2022! The patch will be designed, ordered and sewn on by you, and with it you’ll be able to be distinguished as a 2022 PT fuksi! The yearbook on the other hand is usually a lot more than a book, the only thing we care about is if it has every single one of you in it! Both the patch and the yearbook can be whatever your creative minds come up with!
On Wednesday 5.10. there will be an information lecture regarding the planning, schedule and other important aspects to take into consideration while constructing the historical monuments. There will be chances to gain fuksipoints, so be there! Further information about the location of the event will be posted in Captains’ Inform later, so remember to check it!

1. Process Optimization 25.10.
The Process of 2022 was launched with potential and on schedule. During the fall, we have monitored the progress of it and found the source material excellent. However, in order to achieve the best result and to maintain the steady state of the process, fine parameter adjustment is required. It's time to optimize the process!
Welcome to The Process Optimization 2022 on Tuesday the 25th of October! The optimization will be performed during the evening in the gloom of Otaniemi, so keep your schedule free from 16:30 onwards and remember to pack some warm clothes fit for the cold Finnish weather and some cheery Prosessiteekkari -spirit!
This is a significant step on your journey of becoming a Prosessiteekkari, you don't want to miss this!

V Greetings
Anna: Phew, onwards to new challenges! You did an amazing job with the Grand Prix, you’re all winners in our eyes <3 As I always say, “Why go over where the bar is lowest when you could go where there is no bar at all!” This week brings with it some of my favorite activities: overall patches and solving mysteries, I’m sure you’ll have a blast!! Tune into the vibes along with this song<https://open.spotify.com/track/1QPRmX2e3EZWskuOe5QqxM?si=oy6rIOC6R8qqWy11hg…>!
Eetu: Last week went by very pleasantly: the participants of CHEM-appro seemed to be having a good time, and on Friday it was time to lower our teekkari caps, but not before the amazingly fast Otatarha Grand Prix performance of PT-Fuksis! This year we were disqualified over a minor technicality (Apparently breaking the rules wasn’t playing by the rules, who would’ve guessed), but next year will be our year! And to top this week off, my list of deadlines has only gotten shorter, so that's all good! Time for a new week with new adventures!
