Dear EESTEC-ers,
Haven't you found a chance to participate in the well-organized event
"LSS-Leadership Summer School" for improving yourself personally in many
respects? Or weren't you lucky enough to take part in "T4T-Training for
Trainers" for contributing both to your LC and to all EESTEC-ers with the
skills which you develop through high quality trainings offered? Here is the
opportunity for you to succeed both of them at the same time, in a joint
event, T4A.
LC Ankara has great honor to announce the invitation for T4A, "Tools for
Action" which will be held on *24th October -1st November 2009* in
Ankara<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankara>,
capital city of Turkey. "Tools For Action" mainly focuses on the personal
development of participants by providing them with necessary skills for
managing their organizations.
As most of you know, leaders need to be skilled in team building,
strategical planning, facilitation, communication, time management, fund
raising, etc. T4A offers you opportunity to get these facilities through the
interactive tools/methods like trainings, round table discussions, and
brain-storming and helps you to perform them efficiently in your LC or in
your student organization. Trainings will be presented by certificated
EESTEC trainers.
Being supported by Turkish National Agency we have achieved to get "*EU
Grant*", which means 70% of your travel, 100% of your visa, and 100% of your
food and accommodation will be covered:) According to the category of EU
Grant which we applied for, the European Union citizens will be accepted as
participants. However, we will also be able to pay 70% of trip costs of
NON-EU citizens only if they prefer "train" for travel.
Now let's move on to the fun part ;) We guarantee the enjoying part will be
awesome as much as the academic part. In detail, T4A will have 2 parts.
First part will take place in
Beypazarı<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beypazar%C4%B1,_Ankara> which
is the most famous historical place involving Central Anatolian Culture
Figures. You will have a great chance to get know "Turkish
Kebab<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kebab>",
"Turkish Nargile <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nargile>", "Turkish Belly
Dance <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belly_dance>", "Turkish
Raki<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rak%C4%B1>",
and "Turkish Crafts <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_marbling>" and the
most important one "Turkish Hospitality". Accommodation in the second part
of T4A will be in the hotel in city center which is alive during whole day
and night ;) We'll go on to enjoy with the non-stop and crazy parties each
night. We'll not forget to have some EESTEC event traditions like
sightseeing, international night as well.
LC Ankara will host 20 participants. Deadline to apply is *23rd September*.
As you see, such a wonderful event in different continent, Asia is ready for
you. So what you are supposed to do now is just to fill both application
forms whose links are given at the top and to send it to your CP who will
deliver it to ankara(a)eestec.net.
