*Dear EESTECers*,

LC Ljubljana is delighted to announce this year’s workshop *Bad Cars Gone
Electric!
*We invite you to join us from the 22nd (arrival day) to the 30th (departure
day) of October 2011 for another unforgettable EESTEC experience brought to
you by LC Gorgeous.
*What’s up?*
The topic of the workshop is electric cars, so we’re going to spend the week
learning about how they work, general implementation into the current
infrastructure, obstacles industries face concerning this for instance
recycling, efficient energy usage, the batteries etc...
We’ll also talk about clean energy, specifically solar power, we’ll take you
to see some experts concerning both topics and see how the two topic can be
connected together.
There will also be a more practical approach to the whole thing. You will be
building your own cars! But we will keep details as a secret for now, so you
have something to look forward to :)
*What else?
*Well you’ll be visiting *Ljubljana, our beautiful
capital*<http://goo.gl/wtqt7>,
where you will see how we in LC Ljubljana breed the most tireless and crazy
party animals known to man (ask anyone).
You will learn the power of
Borovničke<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFos15_IExA>,
you will learn your limit in alcohol consumption and raise it significantly
through practice and determination, with the help of the EESTEC Drunk Team
coordinator, that we are proud to house.
You *will *learn our
dance<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIYjxGMbnho&feature=player_detailpage#t=60s>!
Not only will you learn it, you will become so good at it you will be able
to do it no matter your intoxication.
There will also be a surprise trip in the middle of the workshop, where you
will be able to relax and breathe in some fresh air.
*But wait, there’s more!
*If you apply in the next 15 minutes, you will get a free ticket to our
International Motivational Weekend.
No, just joking, *EVERY* participant will get a free ticket to our IMW,
taking place at the end of the workshop, where we will take you to our
beautiful countryside, hold soft-skills trainings and party on our special
theme-parties.
We will be accepting 15-20 participants to our workshop, so don’t wait,
apply now!

Dear EESTECers,
*Unfortunately we have to inform you that the 4th Training for Trainers -
"T4T" which was planned to be held in Maribor has to be postponed because of
lack of funds in LC Maribor.*
We want to thank to everybody who applied and has a wish to become a trainer
and participate in T4T.
The postponing is not a reason to get demotivated because we will continue
to work on T4T and prepare an even better event!
*In the next period we will inform you about further steps related to T4T.*
*For those who applied*, participant list was not made so when the next call
is announced you will only have to confirm if you are still applying, so

like to peek deeper into the robotic world?
*LC Novi Sad* is more than happy to announce that our workshop, called *"We

Nyt olisi tilaisuus päästä kokemaan Oktoberfestit Münchenissa 20.-26.9.
EESTECin kautta!!! Lisätietoa alla.
***********************************************************
Organizer: LC Munich
Exchange: Oktoberfest Exchange 2011
When: 20th – 26th September 2011
Number of participants: 11-13 EESTECers
Participation fee: 60 Euros
Deadline: 20th August 2011
Application form: eestec.net
***********************************************************
Dear EESTECers,
LC Munich/Awesome is proud to announce the 2011 Oktoberfest Exchange from
September 20th until September 26th.
You will have the honor of drinking the world's finest beer in the world's
finest city with the most sophisticated soon-to-be engineers in Europe.
Besides all these tempting facts we are also planning a cultural program, a
City-Rally, sightseeing, and clubbing. There won't be any lectures, however
plenty of entertainment during your stay in Munich is guaranteed.
Since hostel prices are ridiculous during Oktoberfest, we will be
accommodating you privately. Unfortunately we have to ask for a
participation
fee of 60€. This includes meals and local transportation. We have to warn
you
though, Munich is generally an expensive place during Oktoberfest. A liter
of
beer is 8.70€! But as usual, everything except for drinks is included for
our
participants. No need to worry, we will not be spending the entire week at
Oktoberfest itself, and you will have a lot of chances to get cheaper beer!
:)
This is a once in a lifetime chance to experience Oktoberfest at such
affordable prices!
This year we will be able to host 11-13 participants.
Again, this is the opportunity of your life to enjoy the world's biggest
beer
festival (and party) with your fellow EESTECers! We strongly encourage you
to
apply! :)
The deadline to apply for this awesome event is Saturday August 20th.
P.S. Loving beer is a must ;)
Cheers,
--
