Hello EESTECers,
Those of you who had already taken part in one of LC Belgrade events know
what to expect J . This time, a kind of event that Belgrade hasn’t organized
for a long time – an exchange! No lectures, just fun, all day long!
The first three days of the exchange will be spent in

Participants will have the opportunity of getting to know all beauties and
wonders of Belgrade in springtime through interesting activities during the
day and craziest parties during the night!! Since Belgrade is located on the
confluence of two rivers, you will have the privilege to see it from a
different point of view – we will take you on a boat party! Imagine this – a
pleasant cruise on Danube, a magical view of Belgrade in the night, while
getting wasted on famous and traditional drink of rakija!
After the Belgrade craze and city jam, we’ll escape to the sea-side. In Čanj,
Montenegro, 2000 electrical engineering students who came for the
50thtraditional

be waiting to party all day long!
* *Besides the parties, we will organize an excursion to one of the most
beautiful bays of the Adriatic see, and you are bound to experience a few
more surprises!
Naturally, you will have the chance to enjoy traditional Serbian cuisine,
pljeskavica, ajvar and other national dishes!
As this is a very long event and no academic part makes it harder to do
successful fundraising, we may be obligated to introduce a participation fee
of 40€.

2010" which will be held from *2nd to 9th of May 2010**.*
*Engineering Competition*
*“RoboMAC”*
RoboMAC is project that popularize robotics by involving a group of
students in creating scientific robots using off-the-shelf materials. With
participation in RoboMac you will have the opportunity to learn about the
benefits of robotics and new developments in this exciting area.
Also you will improve networking with another participants while
exchanging experiences and working in teams in a competitive international
environment.
The competition will be in five disciplines.
RoboMAC will animate your creativity, make you feel the thrill of the
competition , and at the end, for the best team, feel the taste of the
victory.
And, I should probably mention that you will get ECTS for participating in
this competition. :)
But, don't worry, you're not going to be all the time closed in
lab,creating little, funny smart robots, there will be parties after every
hardworking day!;)

it is our pleasure to announce that the application period for participants
at the Leadership Summer School 2010 (LSS) is open now! Below you can find
the most important aspects and the attached file gives you all the necessary

What is LSS?
Leadership Summer School is an amazing 7 days training event of IFISO
(Informal Forum of International Student Organisations) on the topic
"Leadership". 65 participants and 15 trainers from more than 15 student
organizations take part in it and this year we proudly present the 3rd
edition.
When and Where?
In Ljubljana from 16th to 25th of July (more details in the attached
document).
What are we looking for?
We are looking for 65 highly motivated students involved in
student-organizations who will experience an amazing training event.

Dear EESTECers,
LC Krakow is proud to announce an event expected for a long time: workshop
"KrakYourNet v2", which you can be part of from 17th April to 24th April
2010.
The main topic will be Computer Network Security. You will be able to
improve your skills during laboratories and lectures, which will be lead by
one of the best AGH professors and IT specialists from companies like IBM.
The lectures will briefly cover the security of all layers followed by the
practical part including Wi-Fi sniffing, breaking WEP/WPA, Google hacking,
usage of different types of VPNs and other topics.
But don’t worry, we didn’t prepared only learning stuff for you! You
certainly won’t miss the opportunity to see the biggest market square in the
medieval Europe, the Royal Castle and old Jewish district, try delicious
Polish cuisine and stand face to face with legendary Wawel's Dragon (watch
out for his flame breath!) and... and that's the end of 'ands' in writing.
The rest you have to see by yourself :) We’ll only add that Krakow after
sunset is even more magical and full of life - countless number of
distinctive pubs and parties awaits, so be prepare… ;)
As for the weekend, we will take you to Zakopane, which is the heart of
Polish part of Tatra Mountains, so you will see some astonishing landscapes
there.

We are happy to announce our Workshop "MENE 2010 - Microelectronics and
Nanoelectronics" once again after its great success last year!
We cooperate with two departments of our university. Lectures are given by
the professors. There will be also a practical part, and you will have the
opportunity to visit the clean-room at the labs.
We might also be visiting "Texas Instruments", our main sponsor.
And whats going on during free-time?
We will show you the great city of Munich, including its nightlife!!!
And you will take part in our International Motivation weekend (as part of
the workshop), which will be the biggest EESTEC-event ever!! We will have a

In cooperation with our "Gender Zentrum" (Gender studies department at our
faculty - yes, we have that...) we are happy to announce the first "Women in
Engineering" Workshop. In the academic part there will be topics like
difficulties and barriers at daily women engineers work, women networks and
job-planning. In other words: The focus is on strengthening the
self-confidence of future women engineers.
There also will be a guide through one of our departments at the university.
On thursday we will have a women-contact-forum, where you can get
connections to some women engineers from companies next to Munich.
Apart from the lectures we will show you bavarian lifestyle (including city,
nightlife, cultural aspects etc.).
And of course - you will take part in our International Motivation weekend
(as part of the workshop), which will be the biggest EESTEC-event ever :-)
We will have a soft-skill training there and big parties!!
So don't be foolish, fill out the application form! Remember, you MUST be
female to apply, that's a condition of our gender studies department.
